Commercial Solar Power Solutions

In Australia there are many guidelines that each energy network provider have when it comes to installing Solar Power.  Usually smaller systems designed for residential properties are approved easily, however commercial properties have hoops to jump through.

The main reason that a commercial property may be knocked back is due to the grids inability to cope with any large grid feedback of energy, especially when your business isn’t trading.

SolarGreen has experienced this with many customers who have been asked to spend their cash flow to upgrade the local network before being able to install solar power.

These utility upgrade costs usually outweigh the initial investment of your solar power system and increase you return on investment time.

Solutions by SolarGreen

SolarGreen have been working with the energy network providers, teams of engineers and manufacturers to design a series of systems that either do not require grid approval, or if they do it will only require an investment of less than $2000 for an engineer to draw electrical diagrams to submit to your energy network provider.  These approvals usually take less than 3 weeks instead of months.

Some of our solutions include:

Hybrid Solar – a great combination of Grid connect, DC Connect & Batteries

This system is ideal for companies with large morning and afternoon use where traditional PV cannot cover your load requirements.

Also ideal for companies who have night shifts, equipment that is required to run over night, or full office back up to beat the blackout seasons.

Small Grid Connect with large PV on a zero grid export

This system allows you to benefit from the grid on weekends or during shutdowns where you export a little bit of energy and in return get paid for it.  The larger installed PV system is designed to only operate during the daytime when you’re drawing energy, while not exporting any further energy to the grid.  Therefore saving you thousands on grid upgrade costs while giving you the benefit of producing your own energy for your consumption!

Zero Grid Export – ideal for companies with large energy usage.

This system is great where you have already been knocked back by your energy utility provider, or you are worried that they will not approve your Solar PV system.

We can install any size Solar Power System to your business.  We require our electrical engineers drawings of your premises and our equipment coupled with our specially designed and approved zero grid export device which is submitted to your local energy network provider for approval.  This process usually costs less than $2000.00 and has approval in under 3 weeks – these systems when designed properly do not get rejected by the utility.

The installed PV system is designed to only operate during the daytime when you’re drawing energy, while not exporting any further energy to the grid.  Therefore saving you thousands on grid upgrade costs while giving you the benefit of producing your own energy for your consumption!
